WE ARE YOUR SPECIALISTS FOR SAFETY IN THE BATHROOM

Sometimes it is the 'little things' that have a big impact: a safe shower stool, a stable bath step, a firm handle or a portable bath lift which is quick to assemble. Help can be so simple.

Depending on the limitations of your mobility or the level of disability, we have the perfect daily living aids for your bathroom in high quality in our portfolio.

HELPING YOU FEEL SAFE AND WELL ALL ROUND

We know that body care is a major part of "feeling well in your own skin". Be it going to the toilet, bathing, showering or washing – everybody wants some privacy.

With our bathroom aids, we help contribute to self-sufficiency, independence and safety in the bathroom. Whether you're elderly, a person with a disability or a child with physical limitations – we offer a wide selection of practical daily living aids for support.

BATHING AND SHOWERING:

AIDS FOR THE ELDERLY AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Showering and bathing are more than just hygiene. People on "Team Shower" enjoy the tingling, refreshing water from above and not only feel clean afterwards, but alive and invigorated as well. People who like bathing love the positive side effect of warm water, that doesn't just relax limbs and muscles, but also helps calm the mind.

BATHE AND SHOWER SAFELY AT EVERY AGE

Being able to shower or bathe at any time becomes much more valuable when it isn't as easy as it used to be. Those who have a disability, or are not as mobile as they used to be due to age, have a whole range of options to get support in the form of different bathroom and toilet aids. Because fear of falling or physical strain shouldn't stop anyone from showering or bathing.

It is important that: Aids have to be the right quality! And alternatives intended for another purposes should not be used. Therefore: Never use a normal stool as a seat in the bath or shower. The risk of slipping is too high in this instance and nasty accidents may occur.

DOES HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DAILY LIVING AIDS FOR BATHROOMS AND TOILETS?

Daily living aids for bathrooms and toilets that have an aid number (HMV number) are covered by health insurance. Only the legal additional charge must be paid. You will need to obtain a medical certificate beforehand.

You can then collect your aid for bathrooms and toilets from a contractual partner (healthcare supply shop or specialist shop) of your insurers with a prescription.

It is important that the doctor describes the type and features of the bathing aid as accurately as possible.

However, there are also aids for bathrooms and toilets that are very practical but do not have aid numbers. Just have a look around our retail partners and ask them to advise you on which products are most suited to your needs
